United Youth Camps
"Helping our children grow in faith"
The
mission of the United Youth Camps program is to support parents and
the Church in teaching youth to develop their potential while learning
that God's values are practical and work. Our entire program surrounds
this vortex, giving it a beneficial design. Every program is designed
with the mission statement in mind. Within our mission is contained
camper goals, staff objectives, standards and a strong message to our
teens. God's ways work!
While the UYC are staffed by volunteers of the United Church of God
and most teens attending are associated with the church, we do accept
applications from any teen that is willing to comply with our code of
honor and the standards that we enforce. We are a Sabbath fellowship
and much of our compass checks and leadership training draws its guidance
and inspiration from the Bible.
If
you are interested in applying, send me an email and explain your desire
and include some information, i.e. age, camp experience, church background
etc.. FYI – each program is about 7-10 days and costs on average
$275.00 for tuition, not counting transportation.
